Route 34 (Main Street) Reconstruction

Project Overview
This project involved comprehensive reconstruction of Route 34 (Main Street) in the City of Derby. The scope included roadway reconstruction, drainage system upgrades, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, utility relocations, streetscape enhancements, traffic signal modernization, fiber optic communications installation, and environmental remediation activities within an Environmental Land Use Restriction (ELUR) area. Construction was performed under active urban traffic conditions requiring extensive maintenance and protection of traffic.

- Directed construction sequencing and phasing operations
- Coordinated utility relocations and service connections
- Managed environmental compliance and controlled material handling
- Oversaw traffic control operations and public safety measures
- Administered contract documentation and progress reporting
